2024 was a year of growth, impact, and exciting progress for Basketball Unite Academy (BUA). Here’s a look at some of our key highlights and achievements.

🏀 Gold & silver medals at the Junior Accra Basketball League (JABL) 🏆

Basketball Unite Academy is proud to celebrate a major milestone as our U15 team clinched Gold and our U13 team brought home Silver at the Junior Accra Basketball League!

Our young athletes competed with heart, hustle, and determination, delivering fierce performances that reflected the discipline, teamwork, and talent we’ve been nurturing every single day on the court. The league provided a vital platform for our players to gain real game-time experience, sharpen their skills, and grow in confidence both on and off the court.

This achievement is not just about medals—it’s a testament to what happens when passion meets purpose. We are incredibly proud of every player, coach, and supporter who helped make this possible.

The journey continues, and the future of youth basketball in Ghana is bright with BUA! 🌟

🏀 Elimination stage at the Accra Youth League (AYL)

  • U13 Team: Reached the Final Four, proving their determination and hard work throughout the season.

  • U16 Team: Made it to the Round of 16, showing great potential and growth, despite a tough competition field.

🌱 Seed Academy Ghana (SAG) Camp

We proudly became part of the SAG Camp, a significant milestone that allowed our players to gain new exposure, elite training, and mentorship from top basketball professionals like former NBA player Pops Mensah-Bonsu, who later even visited our court, the KLM Playground.

🏫 School Outreach Program

We launched our School Program, engaging kids during their P.E. sessions with fun and structured basketball activities. This initiative is already spreading joy and sparking interest in sports among students who rarely get the chance to play. This year we have reached 150 students from the ages of six to 18 years old of all genders alike in Tema, Accra and even the Eastern Region of Ghana.
