Basketball Unite Academy is an educational sports-NGO based in the city of Tema in Ghana, Westafrica.
Our team consists of coaches and educators who aim to support less privileged kids in the community.
From the ages of 6 to 18 we coach all children and youths that come to our basketball court and are interested in playing the game, participating in the community and furthering their academic careers.

Basketball is what we do most of the time. We hold practices daily and participate in league games and tournaments.
But we also make sure our players do well in school, we look for scholarships abroad and reach out to schools through physical education programs.
To bring to life these and other future projects we have collected a few friends along the way we cooperate with from all over the globe.

WANT TO SUPPORT OUR CAUSE?
Even the best NGO in education does not have a main product they can sell for money, nor should they. All our programs are free for the young players! Therefore we are dependant on public funding and private donations.
